born July 10, 1972 is a Colombian actress, television host, model, and entrepreneur.

Sofía Vergara had been widely known for co-hosting two TV shows for Univisión in the late 1990s. Her TV career opened up for her a window of exposure to North American audiences prior to her first notable acting job in English, the 2003 film Chasing Papi. Subsequently, she appeared in films, including two Tyler Perry films, Meet the Browns (2008) and Madea Goes to Jail (2009), receiving an ALMA Award nomination for the latter.

Sofía Vergara currently stars on the critically acclaimed ABC series Modern Family as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett, for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and three Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Sofía Vergara was born in Barranquilla, Colombia. Her mother, Margarita Vergara Dávila de Vergara, is a homemaker, and her father, Julio Enrique Vergara Robayo, produced cattle for the meat industry. "Toti" was the nickname given to Sofía Vergara by her five brothers and sisters and many cousins, including television news anchor and reporter Carlos Vergara. She grew up in her hometown of Barranquilla and was raised as a devout Catholic in a well-off family, attending a private bilingual Spanish/English school.

She is the only child of former Aerosmith guitarist Rick Dufay and Maureen Dumont Kelly, an exotic dancer and single mother who often moved with her daughter to different communities, before settling in Albuquerque, New Mexico, by the time Minka was in junior high school. Shia LaBeouf was born in Los Angeles, the only child of Shayna (née Saide) and Jeffrey Craig LaBeouf. His mother is a dancer and ballerina turned visual artist and clothing jewelry designer. His father is a Vietnam War veteran who had numerous jobs. LaBeouf's mother is Jewish and his father is a Cajun. Shia LaBeouf was raised in his mother's Jewish religion and had a Bar Mitzvah; He was also baptized in the Angelus church.

Shia LaBeouf has described his parents as "hippies", his father as "tough as nails and a different breed of man", and his upbringing as similar to a "hippy lifestyle", stating that his parents were "pretty weird people, but they loved me and I loved them." The actor also accompanied his father to meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous. Shia LaBeouf has also said he was subjected to verbal and mental abuse by his father, who once pointed a gun at his son during a Vietnam War flashback. Shia LaBeouf says his father was "on drugs" during his childhood and was placed in drug rehabilitation for heroin addiction while Shia LaBeouf's mother was "trying to hold down the fort." His parents eventually divorced, mainly due to financial problems, and Shia LaBeouf had what he has described as a "good childhood", growing up poor in Echo Park with his mother, who worked selling fabrics and brooches. Shia LaBeouf's uncle was going to adopt him at one stage because his parents could not afford to have him anymore and "they had too much pride to go on welfare or food stamps." As a way of dealing with his parents' divorce, he would perform for his family, mimicking his father. Shia LaBeouf remains close to and financially supports both of his parents.

He attended 32nd Street Visual and Performing Arts Magnet in Los Angeles (LAUSD) and Alexander Hamilton High School, although he received most of his education from tutors. In an interview, Shia LaBeouf said that, looking back on his childhood, he feels grateful and considers some of those memories scars.

When Shia LaBeouf was 19, after a neighbor in his Studio City apartment complex had allegedly insulted his mother and rear-ended her car, Shia LaBeouf brought a knife, and a friend for backup, to the neighbor's apartment, which resulted in Shia LaBeouf being assaulted by the neighbor and six of the neighbor's friends.

Claire Danes was born in Manhattan, New York City, New York. Her mother, Carla, is a day-care provider, painter, and textile designer who later served as her daughter's manager, and her father, Christopher Danes (b. May 6, 1944 in Austin, Texas),is a computer consultant and former architectural photographer. Claire Danes has described her background as being "as WASPy as you can get"; her paternal grandfather, Gibson Andrew Danes (1910–1992 in Litchfield, Connecticut), was the dean of the art and architecture school at Yale University. She has an older brother, Asa (b. 1973).

Claire Danes attended the Dalton School in New York City, the New York City Lab School for Collaborative Studies, the Professional Performing Arts School, and the Lycée Français de Los Angeles in Los Angeles, California. In 1998, Danes went to Yale University, her father's alma mater. Director Oliver Stone wrote her letter of recommendation to Yale. After studying for two years as a psychology major, she dropped out of Yale to focus on her film career.

Nadia Khan born 1972 is a Pakistani television presenter, actress and producer.

She made her television debut through NTM in 1996. She then hosted a show called Daak Time (Mail Time) with Uncle Sargam which was popular among children PTV.[citation needed] She made a comeback to acting in the year 2005 with an Eid Special Show in which she acted opposite Ijaz Aslam and Sadia Imam. She also appeared in a ARY Digital soap called Koi To Ho in 2003. She later left the show to work as a host on ARY, then left it to work on Geo TV.

Nadia Khan returned as an anchor on ARY Digital's morning show Breakfast with Nadia. The show went on air from Dubai in the year 2006. After leaving ARY Digital for unknown reasons in 2008, she moved to Geo TV Khan then hosted Geo TV's morning show called Nadia Khan Show. A live chat and interview show. She quit GEO TV on September 30, 2010 and was replaced by Shaista Wahidi on Geo TV's program 'GEO Morning in November, 2010.

Nadia Khan has resumed her hosting career after a year on Dunya News with Eid transmission. On Nadya’s debut show on Dunya News, several showbiz celebrities appeared as guest and a large number of people expressed best wishes for her.

Aaliyah Dana Haughton January 16, 1979 – August 25, 2001, who performed under the mononym Aaliyah, was an American R&B recording artist, actress and model. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, and was raised in Detroit, Michigan. At the age of 10, she appeared on the television show Star Search and performed in concert alongside Gladys Knight. At age 12, Aaliyah signed with Jive Records and her uncle Barry Hankerson's Blackground Records. Hankerson introduced her to R. Kelly, who became her mentor, as well as lead songwriter and producer of her debut album, Age Ain't Nothing but a Number. The album sold three million copies in the United States and was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). After facing allegations of an illegal marriage with R.Kelly, Aaliyah Haughton ended her contract with Jive and signed with Atlantic Records.

Aaliyah Haughton worked with record producers Timbaland and Missy Elliott for her second album, One in a Million; it sold 3.7 million copies in the United States and over eight million copies worldwide. In 2000, Aaliyah appeared in her first major film, Romeo Must Die. She contributed to the film's soundtrack, which spawned the single "Try Again". The song topped the Billboard Hot 100 solely on airplay, making Aaliyah the first artist in Billboard history to achieve this feat. "Try Again" earned Aaliyah Haughton a Grammy Award nomination for Best Female R&B Vocalist.

After completing Romeo Must Die, Aaliyah Haughton filmed her part in Queen of the Damned. She released her third and final album, Aaliyah Haughton, in July 2001. On August 25, 2001, Aaliyah Haughton and eight others were killed in an airplane crash in The Bahamas after filming the music video for the single "Rock the Boat".The pilot, Luis Morales III, was unlicensed at the time of the accident and had traces of cocaine and alcohol in his system. Aaliyah's family later filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Blackhawk International Airways, which was settled out of court. Since then, Aaliyah Haughton's music has continued to achieve commercial success with several posthumous releases. Aaliyah recorded several number one R&B hits and five top ten Billboard Hot 100 singles. Aaliyah sold 32 million albums worldwide. She has been credited for helping redefine R&B and hip hop, earning her the nicknames "Princess of R&B" and "Queen of Urban Pop". She is listed by Billboard as the tenth most successful female R&B artist of the past 25 years, and 27th most successful R&B artist overall.
